Housesitting a River Nature Oasis in Southern Sicily

Wanna wake up to the sounds of the river and the singing of birds?

A whole valley, 22 hectars of nature paradise, nestled between two stunning world-heritage villages, your own river and spring water, full housing infrastructure and a car - all for free, sounds too good to be true?

Weeeell, we just bought land to start a gifting-economy based retreat space. Its for people in life transitions seeking a place to simply be, rest, recharge, reconnect and reorientate. Little daily structure, shared practices, lots of playfullness, creativity, community and alone-time, silence for contemplation in nature, with joy and lightness.

We open in October, so for the summer months (June - September) we are looking for 2-4 people to host the land without guests, its just you. Preferably the whole durtion or minimum one month. Italian is a strong plus. There are a few to-do’s (ca. 3h/day) the rest you can just be, recharge, enjoy, create, share time together.
